Person Memorial Hospital Welcomes Holly Boyd, FNP, to Primary Care Team

Person Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Holly Boyd, FNP, to its growing team of healthcare providers, expanding access to high-quality primary care for patients throughout Person County and the surrounding communities.
Boyd is a Family Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of healthcare experience spanning primary care, behavioral health, women's health, urgent care, emergency services, case management and nursing education. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her clinical leadership, commitment to patient-centered care and passion for improving health outcomes across the lifespan.
Prior to joining Person Memorial Hospital, Boyd served in a variety of nursing leadership and clinical roles, including psychiatric nursing at UNC Health Johnston, labor and delivery nursing at WakeMed, care management with AmeriHealth Caritas, and as a clinical instructor for Duke University's Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. She has also served as faculty for ECPI University's Practical Nursing Program and has held numerous leadership positions as a team lead, charge nurse, mentor and preceptor.
Boyd earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Barton College, where she also completed a minor in Business Management. She recently completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration and brings advanced clinical training along with certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation, Advanced Fetal Monitoring and numerous specialized behavioral health and patient advocacy programs.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Boyd provides comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, wellness visits, health screenings and treatment for acute illnesses for patients of all ages.
