Person Memorial Hospital (PMH) invites the community to celebrate the holiday season by honoring someone special at the annual “Lights of Love” tree lighting ceremony. This cherished tradition allows families and friends to remember loved ones or commemorate special occasions with a light shining in their honor on the “Lights of Love” tree, prominently located atop Person Memorial Hospital.

Each light represents love, hope, and remembrance, creating a beautiful symbol of the season. Honorees and their families will be acknowledged in the Courier-Times, and donors will be notified of their gift if indicated on the registration form.

Event Details:

  • Date: Tuesday, December 2, 2025
  • Social Gathering: 4:30 PM
  • Program & Tree Lighting: 5:00 PM
  • Location: 615 Ridge Road, Roxboro, NC
  • Refreshments: Served following the ceremony

This annual event is presented by the PMH Auxiliary and will feature special musical performances by Miss North Carolina, Sophia Kellstrom. The celebration offers an opportunity for the entire community to come together, share warmth and joy, and illuminate the season with cherished memories.

“We invite everyone in our community to join us for this heartfelt celebration,” said Eric Kaplan, Person Memorial Hospital Chief Operating Officer. “It’s a time to honor loved ones, celebrate special moments, and light up the season together — one light, one memory, one love at a time.”
