The Pharmacy Department at Person Memorial Hospital provides pharmaceutical care for our Medical/Surgical patients, Emergency Department patients and clinic patients. The department prepares chemotherapeutic agents for our hematology-oncology patients. Intravenous medications are mixed in our IV room and then delivered to the appropriate nursing station. The Pharmacy Department reviews and monitors each inpatient's medication and frequently assists the physician in determining the correct dosage based on individual situations. This department is staffed by registered pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians. Individuals wishing to have their medications reviewed by a pharmacist may call (336) 503-5795 to set-up an appointment.
Pharmacy hours:
8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday
8:00 am – 12:00 noon Saturday and Sunday
A pharmacist is available 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
