kidney functions, cholesterol and triglycerides, pregnancy,
therapeutic drug monitoring and thyroid.
Hematology
Tests include red and white cell count and platelet count,
urine analysis, blood clotting, and sickle cell screening.
Tests also may rule out certain diseases such as mononucleosis,
rheumatoid arthritis and syphilis.
Blood Bank
Tests and determines an individual's blood type and prepare
blood for transfusions as requested by the physician.
Microbiology
Tests for microorganisms such as bacteria and parasites in
addition to cultures done on blood and other body fluids.
