I would like to take this time to let you know what EXCELLENT care I received at Person Memorial Hospital. My wife brought me to the ER in the early hours of Saturday, October 31, 2009 with severe stomach pain. I was seen almost as soon as I came in. I was given something for pain and the treatment began. EVERYONE in the ER was EXTREMELY NICE! I was taken for a CT scan and it was determined that I had a blockage in my intestines. I was admitted to the hospital that morning. EVERYONE on the second floor was great, from the Doctors, Nurses, Nurses Aides to the people who brought food and the cleaning folks! It was determined by Tuesday afternoon that I would need surgery by Dr. Antalik. I was taken down to surgery and EVERYONE in the Surgical Department was Great also! After surgery, I could not have asked for better treatment by the staff! This was not my first stomach surgery (but hopefully my last!) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Person Memorial Hospital to everyone I've come in contact with. My experience with Person Memorial sure made me change my thoughts about going to Durham. Keep up the good work!
