On August 8, 2009, I fell off a ladder and broke my wrist. My husband took me to the Emergency Department where I was promptly seen by the triage nurse Melissa, and put into an exam room. Two nurses, Ann and Karr were right there to admit me. Karr was in and out the entire time I was there. I was seen by Dr. Leacock who was very friendly. Everyone was very professional, compassionate and could not have been nicer to me. The x-ray technician Kelly was very friendly also. I was very impressed with the new renovation. We are very fortunate to have such a modern facility plus the wonderful people staffing it.
On August 10th I had to return to the hospital for surgery pre-op. Once again, everyone I came in contact with was very friendly, concerned, and courteous. Angela Cole, the pre-op nurse is such a sweet and caring person. On August 11th I had surgery on my wrist and received excellent care. I am also a patient in the Specialty Clinics and I want to compliment Susan Long, Shirley Hazel, and Jodie on the great job they do.
