My name is Millard Thacker, son of Bertha Thacker, a long time resident of the Extended Care Unit of the Person Memorial Hospital. On behalf of the Thacker Family, I am taking this opportunity to express our appreciation to the ECU Staff and other hospital staff members who have provided such tender care to our Mother during her stay in the ECU.
The entire ECU staff has done a tremendous job making our Mom feel comfortable, safe and happy while receiving top-notch professional care and attention. A special thanks goes to the Activities Staff for making sure that our Mom stays active and enjoys her environment, particularly during times when music is provided. Our Mom loves to clap her hands, sing in her own words and stomp her feet when listening to good old country music and hymns.
Our family highly recommends PMH and the ECU for all who might need their medical attention and caring. The entire atmosphere at PMH is one of comfort and caring and the entire staff attitude is of kindness and serving.
