I would like to take the time to let the Person Memorial Hospital staff know that if it were not for the excellent care they gave me in 2007, I may not be alive today.  Also, my brother, Alvis B. Clayton arrived at the Roxboro Nursing Home to visit our mother in November 2009.  When he arrived, he said in a strong loud voice that he needed someone to take his blood pressure.  His blood pressure was not good, so my other brother and I took him across the street to Person Memorial Hospital.  When we arrived we signed my brother in and indicated that he was having chest pains and the pain was going down his arm.  Immediately we were taken into a room where the doctors began running tests and contacted Duke so that he be transferred.  The doctors gave the correct medication that was needed to keep my brother alive during his transfer to Duke.

My brother survived his heart attack because according to the doctor at Duke, "He was in the right place at the right time prior to being transferred to Duke".   Everyone who worked on my brother at Person Memorial Hospital was friendly and knowledgeable.  I just wanted to let you know how much my brother and my family appreciate what you did for him to help save his life.
