In order to protect our patients, their visitors and our staff, the following visitation policy will remain in effect until the end of flu season.
- Visitors with flu-like symptoms are asked to not come to the hospital to visit. Symptoms may include, but are not limited to:
- Fever greater than 100 F.
- Cough
- Sore throat
- Nasal Congestion
- During Flu Season, visitors under the age of 18 are not allowed in the hospital without express permission of nursing management.
- Exception: Visitors under the age of 18 who are NOT exhibiting any flu-like symptoms may visit family-member residents on the Extended Care Unit, but are not allowed to go elsewhere in the hospital.
- Hand sanitizer is available at all entrances. Person Memorial Hospital is asking all visitors to sanitize hands before entering our facility.
- Visitors at the hospital with flu-like symptoms will be given a mask to wear and asked to leave.
- Masks, tissues and hand sanitizers will be provided to infectious patients at the entrances of the hospital.
