provide adequate space to accommodate ever-changing technology
and the growing number of patients we serve.

Memorial Hospital offers citizens of Person County and surrounding

These are more than just words; they describe our commitment
to you, your family and your neighbors. We want to serve you
with warmth, care and compassion. We are small enough to provide
personal and individualized care and large enough to provide
the modern health technology and services you need.
Person Memorial is a 110- bed facility, licensed for 60 acute
beds and 50 extended care beds. We are pleased to be able
to offer respite services to our citizens who are unable to
return home yet no longer need acute or skilled nursing care.
Additionally we have Specialty Clinics where individuals can
receive a variety of services not typically found in a small
community. These physicians come from Duke University Medical
Center and South Boston, VA to provide care so our citizens
can avoid travel, time and parking dilemmas. They are housed
in a section of the hospital that recently has been renovated
to resemble a private physician office.
We have a long history of community involvement. Our staff
serve on many community and state committees. We actively
participate in community activities such as Person
County United Way, March
of Dimes and Relay for Life.
