The Person Memorial Hospital Specialty Clinics provide specialized medical services not typically available in a community hospital. Medical specialist come from Durham, NC and South Boston, VA to provide for the specific care needs of patients thus allowing our citizens to receive top-ranked care locally rather than having to spend the time and funds to go out-of-county for needed medical services.

The Clinics are constantly adding services and additional days to serve our community.

Currently the Clinics are housed at the back of the hospital between the emergency room and the intensive care unit. In the next several months they will move to the ground floor of the Hospital Annex. This will permit the Specialty Clinics to seem more like a private physician office. When relocated the Clinics will enjoy more registration area, additional exam and treatment rooms, two triage rooms, a family education room, increased space and privacy for chemotherapy patients and a separated Cancer Service Room.
