POSITION: Manager

DEPARTMENT: Respiratory Therapy
SCHEDULE: Days
STATUS: Full time

REQUIREMENTS: RRT and active current NC Respiratory Care Practitioner License.  Two years minimum experience in critical Respiratory care and intubation experience is required. Current BCLS is required. ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.

JOB DUTIES: Coordinate the Respiratory Therapy Department and the Sleep Lab to ensure efficient and effective operations. Assures the respiratory compliance with regulatory standards and Person Memorial Hospital policies/procedures/standards. Performs respiratory modalities.

POSITION: Assistant Dietary Manager

DEPARTMENT: Food and Nutrition Services
SCHEDULE: Rotating Shift
STATUS: Full time

REQUIREMENTS: Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Sufficient previous managerial experience in Food Service Administration including cafeteria or related administrative/supervisory techniques is required.

JOB DUTIES: Ability to read production sheets for large volumes, follow oral and written duties, lift twenty-five pounds with standing for long periods of time. Good sanitary practices. Plans, directs, and coordinates Dietary department's technical and administrative activities in providing regular and therapeutic diets and food service for patients and hospital employees in the absence of the Food and Nutrition Services Manager. Responsible for handling, storage, and preparation of food and supplies, maintenance of equipment, records and sanitation in accordance with health requirement and prescribed standards.

POSITION: House Supervisor

DEPARTMENT: Nursing Administration
SCHEDULE: Rotating
STATUS: Full time

REQUIREMENTS: A.D.N., and current RN licensure. Three years of recent supervising experience preferred. ACLS, PALS, and NPR required within six months of hire.

JOB DUTIES: Performs direct and indirect patient care activities within the Registered Nurse's scope of practice and Person Memorial Hospital standard of care.

POSITION: Registered Nurse (2  positions)

DEPARTMENT: Emergency
SCHEDULE: Rotating
STATUS: Full time

REQUIREMENTS: Current RN licensure. BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required. ED experience is preferred.

POSITION: Registered Nurse

DEPARTMENT: Med/Surg
SCHEDULE: Rotating

REQUIREMENTS: Current RN licensure. One year of experience is required; however,  new graduates are encouraged to apply.

POSITION: Registered Nurse

DEPARTMENT: Intensive Care Unit
SCHEDULE: Rotating
STATUS: Full time

REQUIREMENTS: Current RN licensure or compact. Two years of ICU experience is required. Prefer ACLS and PALS certification within 90 days. Current BCLS is required.

POSITION: CNA I/II

DEPARTMENT: Extended Care Unit
SCHEDULE: Rotating
STATUS: Full time

REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma and CNA I/II certification. BCLS required within three months of hire. One year of experience in healthcare facility preferred, however, will consider new grads.

JOB DUTIES: Performs direct and indirect patient care activities within the Nursing Assistant's scope of practice and Person Memorial Hospital standards of care.

POSITION: ED Paramedic (2 positions)

DEPARTMENT: Emergency
SCHEDULE: Rotating
STATUS: Full time

REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma and graduate from an approved EMT Paramedic and EMT Intermediate Program. Current licensure by the state of North Carolina as an EMT-Paramedic is required. Current ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certifications are required. One year of field experience is also required.

JOB DUTIES: Performs direct patient care under the direction of a physician. Also performs administrative, clerical, and clinical duties as assigned by a Registered Nurse. Demonstrates age-specific competencies in the care of all age groups from neonates to geriatric patients. Complies with all policies and procedures of Person Memorial Hospital.

POSITION: ED Technician

DEPARTMENT: Emergency
SCHEDULE: Rotating
STATUS: Weekend Option

REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma and graduate from an approved EMT Paramedic and EMT Intermediate program. ACLS and PALS are required. One year of field experience is also required.

JOB DUTIES: Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, performs delegated tasks (within the scope of certification) appropriate in the care of patients including data collection and selected patient care procedures.

POSITION: Pharmacy Tech

DEPARTMENT: Pharmacy
SCHEDULE: Days
STATUS: Full time

REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent and Pharmacy Tech Certification.

JOB DUTIES: Assists pharmacist in filling orders, stocking shelves, checking prices and maintaining inventory. Will be responsible for care of equipment and supplies. Files necessary paperwork and forms.
