Requirements: MT: Medical Technology Degree
MLT: Medical Lab Technician Degree ASCP registered or equivalent required. New graduates are welcome.

Job Duties: Generalist position involving phlebotomy, chemistry, blood bank, microbiology and hematology.

Requirements: Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree in Nursing, Masters preferred. Registered Nurse with valid/current or temporary NC licensure. Nursing Home Administrator’s license preferred. 5 years in Nursing Home setting and 5 years Nursing Management experience.

Job Duties: Top level position in the Extended Care unit. Directs, plans, and coordinates service activities of professional nursing and ancillary nursing personnel. Interprets hospital policy and regulations to nursing personnel and ensures personnel compliance. Analyzes and evaluates nursing and related services rendered to improve quality of patient care and better utilize staff time and abilities. Responsible for department budget.

Requirements: Diploma, Associate Degree or Bachelor’s from an accredited School of Nursing.  Current/valid RN License, BCLS within 3 months of hire, ACLS within 1 year of hire.  2 years of nursing experience required.  Management experience preferred.

Job Duties: Utilizes the nursing process including:  assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and recording of patient care.  Teaches, delegates and supervises other nursing staff in the provision of care.  Coordinates services with other members of the health care team to provide complex patient care.  Practices within the scope of the NC Nurse Practice Act and Person Memorial Hospital policies, procedures, and standards.

Position: Respiratory Therapist

Requirements: CRT/RRT credential or AAS degree or equivalent in an accredited Respiratory Care Program or successful passage of Entry Level Certification Exam per Bylaws of the NC Respiratory Care Board.  BCLS within 3 months of hire.  ACLS, PALS, and NALS within 1 year of hire.  Active current NC Respiratory Care Practitioner License.  3 years minimum experience in critical Respiratory care.  Adult intubations experience preferred.

Job Duties: Perform clerical and reception duties.  Answering telephones, VS, stocking bed changes, instrument cleaning, stamping charts & assembling, assisting with moving patients, Meditech, transporting some patients.

Position: Phlebotomist

Schedule: Evenings (1pm-11:30pm)
Status: Full-Time

Requirements: High School Diploma & Phlebotomy certificate. Familiarity with state and federal regulations is required.  Should be able to grasp a firm understanding of the importance of compliance, safety, and customer satisfaction.  Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills.  Must be organized, independent, dependable, computer literate, productive, and have an excellent attendance.

Job Duties: Collects and assists in the collection of blood and other body fluids from patients. Performs electrocardiograms and related procedures. Files, charts, and otherwise communicates patient results in a timely fashion.
