Job Duties: Performs direct and indirect patient care activities within the Nursing Assistant’s scope of practice and PMH standards of care.

Requirements: Diploma, Associate Degree or Bachelor’s from an accredited School of Nursing, and current/valid NC RN license with a minimum of three years of nursing experience in clinical area.  Also, a year of supervisory experience is required.

Job Duties: Twenty-Four hour accountability for department including: effective performance, management, communication, resource management and leadership.  Utilizes the nursing process including: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and recording of patient care.  Teaches, delegates and supervises other nursing staff in the provision of nursing care.  Coordinates services with other members of the healthcare team to provide complex patient care.  Practices within the scope of the North Carolina Nurse Practice Act and Person Memorial Hospital policies/procedures/standards.

Position: Ultrasonographer

Day w/ call every 3rd week

Regular Part-Time

Requirements: Experience in Cardiac Echo, Vascular Ultrasound, Abdominal, OB-GYN, and small parts are required.  Must be registered in vascular and echocardiography.

Job Duties: Will perform Echocardiography, as well as venous/arterial studies.  Will also be required to perform general diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
